Just came back from a long, fulfilling holiday during Pongal celebration. Feeling refreshed and recharged to take up the responsibilities of everyday routine. Holidays emphasize something - how important it is to spend time with our family, our kids and for ourselves. Not thinking much, not worrying about anything I completely used up my holidays enjoying my time doing what I love. It's hard to find time for myself at times but holidays like these are a real gift!
Early morning drives, a little bit of trekking, exploring a hidden gem inside a cave temple, my trip was every bit rewarding.
It doesn't even happen when I plan accurately but when I go with the flow, do something different and be with my family it gives immense pleasure lighting up my days. I spent long hours on the road than ever before but it was totally worth it. I went to a new place I've never been before and it was breath-taking. With the effect this trip left on me it's not just my kids but I too keep thinking when will I go next!
